The Social Welfare Society (Samaj Kalyan Vibhag) Government of Meghalaya has released a notification for Meghalaya Scholarship 2023-24. This studentship is for helping the poor students in their higher education. The students who comes from the lover class ie SC/ST/OBC/Minority categories they can apply for this scheme. Interested and eligible candidates are invited to fill the Meghalaya Scholarship Online Form on or before the closing date.

The Education Authority of Meghalaya releases this scholarship scheme every year for all candidates who are learning in 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, & undergraduate /Postgraduate i.e. B.A, B.Com, B.Sc., M.A, M.Com, M.Sc, MCA, and BCA etc.This is a golden opportunity for many students who belong to the weaker family can apply this online form to get the scholarship to continue their study.

The association provides many scholarship schemes such as Pre-Matric, Post-Matric, and Merit Cum Means & Minority to all needed candidates. Eligibility Criteria for Meghalaya Scholarship 2023-24

• Applicants who are OBC/SC/ST are eligible and can apply for this Scholarship.
• Candidate must have all valid required documents valid.
• He/She must have secure 60% from a state-affiliated college.
• Must be a bonafide student of the state.
• The annual income of a family of the candidate from all sources should not be more than 2 lakhs per annum.

Document Required for Meghalaya Scholarship:

1. Having all schooling certificate and college certificate.
2. The domicile of the applicants. 
3. Birth certificate of the student. 
4. Photograph of a student.
5. Aadhar Card copy.
6. Income proof certificate.
7. Caste Certificate.
8. Ration Card.

Instructions for Meghalaya Scholarship Online Registration

An applicant who wants to apply for the Pre-Matric, Post-Matric, Merit Cum Means, & Minority Scholarship Schemes under Meghalaya government need to check the eligibility conditions clearly once. All documents which are going to be uploaded need to be collected at the registration time.  Check twice while submitting the application as again it won’t be edited.

• Advertisements of scholarship schemes are generally given to the press and Government of Meghalaya website (http://meghalaya.gov.in) just before or after the publication of board and university results
• Forms of the same can be downloaded from the site or forms can be collected from the Directorate of Higher and Technical Education, College Branch, MATI Building, Room No 206.
• The last date for receiving applications is normally mid/end August or as per the notification which has been issued or may be issued from time to time by a competent authority.
• Subject to any specific direction from the competent authority that will be duly notified. Scholarship forms are to be collected by respective Inspectorate of schools, Principals of Colleges, Registrar or authorized persons from universities etc in the month of May/June/July.

• Find the appropriate link as “Apply Online” and click on it.
• Read this notification carefully before applying.
• Fill the application form correctly into the empty space.
