The University of Grants Commission UGC has released a notification for JRF Scholarship 2023-24. Students who are research fellow may get this studentship as a stipend for their research work. The Commission gives the scholarship amount every month to the selected students. Those who want to fill JRF Scholarship Application Form can fill through its official site i.e. www.ugc.ac.in.

These Applications are inviting from aspirants for taking the eligibility test for the award of Junior Research Fellowship ( JRF)  of the value of Rs. 16000/- p.m. with an eventuality grant of Rs. 15000/- p.a. This scholarship scheme organized to check the capability/eligibility of all the applicants to receive this scholarship as a reward after qualifying the exam. 
This JRF Scholarship Scheme 2023-24 has released especially SC / ST / PH category candidates. Also, provide for improving the study status in this category. That time in India most of all students as face this problem and don’t do the future education. Aspirants if you want to do advanced study & research in engineering. The term of the UGC Junior Research Fellowship:
The Junior Research Fellowship will be for a maximum period of 2 years, extendable by 1 additional year in unique conditions if recommended by the Research Projects Committee.
The highest No. of (JRF) available for the year 2018.

Eligibility Criteria for JRF Scholarship Scheme 2023-24

  • Only aspirants who have got at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s Degree OR equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognized by the UGC in History/ Archaeology/Musicology is eligible for this Junior Research fellowship. 
  • The aspirants belonging to Scheduled Tribe (ST)/ Scheduled Caste (SC), Physically challenged category who have secured at least 50% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s degree or equivalent examination are eligible for this fellowship and aspirants who are admitted to a Ph.D. program can apply for.
Application fee
  • An application fee of Rs. 200/- (Rupees two hundred only) will be paid in the form of a (D.D)  Demand Draft drawn in favor of the Deputy Director (Accounts) ICHR, payable at Delhi.
  • Aspirants belonging to SC/ST/Physically Challenged category are exempted from payment of the fee. 

Exam Format:
  • 30 objective type questions of 30 marks
  • 2 essay type questions of 50 marks.
  • 5 questions based on comprehension of 20 marks.
Aspirants who qualify in the eligibility examination will face for an Interview at the offices of the ICHR hi.

  1. Having all schooling certificate and college certificate.
  2. Domicile of the applicants.
  3. Birth certificate of the student.
  4. Photograph of a student.
  5.  Aadhar Card copy.
  6. Income proof certificate.
