Eligibility Criteria for ONGC Scholarship 2024

There is a particular eligibility criterion for those candidates who want to get the erudition amount, the point that the candidates have to remember at the time of applying are:

• Only Indian students are eligible for the Scholarship by ONGC
• The student should be belonging to the SC/ST/OBC/General Categories and pursuing Professional Courses in Engineering, Medical Stream and Masters Degree Course in Business Administration, Geology and Geophysics from an affiliated university or recognized institution.
• Aspirants pursuing four years Engineering/MBBS courses/Two years Masters courses in Business Administration and Two years Master's Degree in Geology/Geophysics are only eligible.
• Aspirants should have obtained a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA/OGPA in 12th class for Engineering and MBBS disciplines. Similarly 60% marks (average marks of all the years) or equivalent CGPA/OGPA.

Age Limit:

The maximum age of applying contenders should be 30 years as on 1 January 2023.

Required Documents:

• Certified copy of the Caste Certificate.
• Copy of Birth Certificate or 10th class mark sheet as proof of age.
• Copy of 12th class mark sheet in case of Engineering/MBBS student.
• Copy of graduation mark sheet in case of an MBA/Master's degree student.
• Income Certificate
• Bank statement of the candidate in the form of ECS attested by the bank.
• Copy of PAN card or copy of PAN card application in case of newly applied.
